Description
Light Stabilizer 123 is a highly effective radical scavenger belonging to the Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers(HALS) family of stabilizers based on an aminoether functionality.
Application
Light Stabilizer 123 is a liquid HALS with low basicity, and outstanding light stabilities in applications, like coatings, printing ink and polyurethane lacquer. It prevents the surface from blowing-out, peeling-off, or chalking for pigmented paint, and is particularly suitable for high solid, acid atalyzed automotive and industrial coatings with high efficiency. Though not soluble in water, its liquid form also allows easy emulsification in water. It also has strong synergistic effect when used with a UV absorber.

Light Stabilizer 622 belongs to the newest generation of polymeric Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer, which has excellent hot processing stability. Terrific compatibility with resin, satisfying tractability against water and extreme low volatility and migratory. Light stabilizer 622 can be applied to PE.PP. Polystyrene, ABS, polyurethane and polyamide etc, optimum effects are obtained when used with antioxidants and UV-absorbers. Light stabilizer 622 is one of the light stabilizers that are sanctioned by FDA to be used in food packages. Reference dosage in PE agricultural film: 0.3-0.6%.

Property and Usage:
UV-320 is a highly effective light stablizer for a variety of plastics and other organic substrates including unsaturated polyesters, PVC and PVC plastisol. Good results are also expected when UV-320 is used in polycarbonates, polyurethanes, polyamides, synthetic fibers, particularly those with a polyestcr, skyd. epoxy or isocyanate resin base. UV-320 features strong UV absorption excellent compatibility in a varicty of substrates and low volatility and protects polymers, as well as organic pigments from UV radiation hclping to preservc the original appearance and physical integrity of molded articles, films, sheets and fibers during outdoor weathering, UV-320 is slightly more discoloring than convention UV absorbers.

Characterization: UV-571 is a liquid benzotriazole type ultraviolet absorber which imparts good light stability to a variety of polymers.
Applications UV-571 can be applied in thermoplastic PUR, coating and integral foams, rigid and plasticized PVC, PVB, PMMA, PVDC, EVOH, EVA, hot cured unsaturated polyesters and spin finishes for PA, PET,PUR, and PP fibers. The product is also suitable for latices, waxes, adhesives, styrene homo- and copolymers, elastomers and polyolefins.
Features/benefits The liquid UV absorber UV-571 is highly soluble in many solvents, monomers, or intermediates and easily emulsifiable in water-based adhesives. UV-571 features high compatibility in various substrates, low volatility even at elevated temperatures, and high absorption and protection efficiency.
Guidelines for use The use levels of UV-571 range between 0.2% and 5.0%, depending on the substrate and performance requirements of the final application.In polyurethanes, the concentration levels for UV-571 range between 0.2% and 0.5% depending on substrate, processing conditions and long-term light stability requirements. Concentration levels of UV-571 in PVC applications range from 0.3% to 0.5%. Concentrations up to 5% can be used in co-extruded PVC.
In adhesives, the concentration levels for UV-571 range between 0.5 % and 1.0%.
UV-571 can be used in combination with other additives such as phenolic antioxidants, costabilizers (e.g. phosphites, thioethers), UV absorbers, and hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS).
